End-of-life Care Decision-making Bill Passes Pennsylvania Legislature

The Pennsylvania legislature has passed SB 628, which provides a comprehensive statutory framework governing health care decision-making for incompetent patients.


The Pennsylvania Medical Society has supported this bill.??? In a nutshell, it provides for medical care decisions through instructions in a living will, through a health care agent appointed through a health care power of attorney, or through a health care representative based upon a statutory list.
